About Us
We started out as only a shoe repair shop in 2006. The owner was old and tired and wanted to get out of the business, and understandably so. We purchased the old shop which has been in it’s location for almost 30 years. The shoe repair industry wasn’t what it used to be so we did some research and development. About a year later we started to service dry cleaners.
Business picked up when we started working with Mak Cleaners, an established dry cleaners in Down Town San Diego. As time went on Mak Cleaners then begin to ask us if we did any leather cleaning. It was at that point when we decided to expand into leather cleaning.
After working on leather for a couple of years in San Diego we started to notice something about the leathers we cleaned; most of them were jackets and coats that were worn for style and comfort rather than to be kept warm. These types of jackets were prevalent in southern California and we learned how to clean and deal with these types of garments. There’s also a big motorcycle riding and horse riding community out here as well. We slowly began to service these industries as well.
Our next expansion came in the leather furniture restoration industry. Using our knowledge and experience dealing with a vast variety of leathers, we began to clean, condition, and renew leather furniture. Thus making us truly a complete leather care service provider. We do things others won’t and achieve results others don’t.
